Brooklyn [Brooklyn]
one of the five ↑boroughs of New York City, south of ↑Manhattan and connected to it by the ↑Brooklyn Bridge. It is an industrial port, but the area in it called Brooklyn Heights is one of the most beautiful in the city. Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn is famous for its Middle Eastern restaurants and shops.
